Summer 2006.

Orion Ribbon

Orion Medal

The Orion Award

For their great stability and high quality leadership. The crew of this SIM has produced a great number of logs. The SIM has an extremely sound and unique background concept that emphasises the finer points of SIMming, instead of putting the focus on constant promotion and advancement, the aim of the game is simply fun.

Caledonia recognises that the level of fun you have is not associated with the position you hold or rank you wear and that as much enjoyment can be had through things not always going quite right as by always getting the right answer and always being a heroic winner.

Since joining the group, the Caledonia has been a shining light in the UFP division and its reputation is now prestigious. Reports back from simmers are stunning, plot development is amazing and the tireless work of the SIM's leadership team has not gone unnoticed.

Captain Caz Mulder, GFDCO, SD240406.30 -> SD240810.31
Awarded to the former members of Gamma Command to acknowledge the immense amount of work put in to the fleet during the three years of its service. This fleet command team never changed once, and while they might not always have agreed on everything, they made sure to apply to their own work what they had strived to achieve throughout the fleet — honesty, fairness and dedication. Their aim was to aid, abet, educate, inform and counsel, and to ensure that Gamma and her sims shone as an example of quality, involved sims. For creating the fleet, nurturing it and its games, and doing their best to make it an emblem of what a sim group should be, we induct them into the Order of Gamma Fleet:

Roddenbury Star Medal

Roddenbury Star Medal

In March 2006 we held the first annual Post of the Year competition, inviting crew to nominate their all-time favourite post from 2005 The nominations poured in, and were whittled down to a short-list, from which the crew were invited to send in a vote for the post they liked the best - a very difficult task indeed to choose between such awesome entries. The writer/s of the winning post are awarded the Roddenbury Star Medal to display on the Bio of all their characters.

The Roddenbury Star Medal is awarded to the writer/s of the winning post as voted for by the crew in the annual Post of the Year competition.
