Starbase BoB

Magellan-I Class Refit

StarBase BoB ImageEvery deck is divided into four sections, alpha through delta. As well, each section is further divided into inner and outer rings. By convention, specific locations are named by deck, section, and ring. For example, the Promenade Customs and Security office is on deck twelve, delta section, inner ring.

Each turboshaft houses six independent turbolifts. As well, there are staircases located near the turbolifts for your convenience when travelling between only a few decks. There are two turbolift shafts that run the breadth of the station and six that run partial runs through out the outer ring sections.

The spine of the station includes the command turbolifts, which provide emergency and tactical access to every level of the station (emergency use only - need command codes to activate) and the original gravitational wells that were designed as high speed people movers and then disconnected due to the extreme power needed to operate them. Besides which, certain crewmembers who shall remain nameless would only use them for arsing around if we switched them on...

Crew quarters - there's so much space on BoB, it's vast and no matter how many people are there it never fills up completely. The rooms are all very good sized, although somewhat spartan in nature. There will be a working replicator, and bed, and probably a few bits of furniture...most crew play "scavenger" for odds & ends to brighten their den up. It's surprising what can be found abandoned in empty quarters, or slightly-broken-but-easily-fixed. It's...an adventure ::grins::
